Appointments can only be made with the receptionist, by calling at the surgery.
If you feel you will need a longer appointment than usual, please let reception know, and we will try and make a provision for this.
When an urgent appointment is requested, the receptionist may ask you about the nature of the complaint in order to assess the urgency. All urgent cases will be seen on the same day.
For non-urgent cases you should normally get an appointment within 48 hours.
Late arrivals may find that they have to wait till the end of the surgery to be seen, or they may be asked to make another appointment.
If you wish to speak to the doctor for general advice, please phone outside surgery times. During busy times you may be asked to ring back or leave a message in which case the doctor will return your call. The nurse is also available for telephone advice.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please inform reception as soon as possible. Failure to attend may deprive another patient of the opportunity to obtain an appointment.
